Enterprise Event and Production Management (EEPM) Project Update

ESR Program to Reshape Intake Processes for Events

We are pleased to announce the Enterprise Event and Production Management (EEPM) project. Part of the Enterprise Systems Renewal (ESR) program, this effort will develop and implement a campus-wide event management strategy, focused on:

Supporting safe COVID-19 reopening, safety and security processes (event awareness and data flow)
Improving event initiation workflows and supporting technology (covers both remote and virtual event workflows)
Reducing the number of tools needed to schedule an event and comply with campus protocol
Providing access to event-related data analytics/metrics
Streamlining venue sourcing processes
Improving event communications and calendaring

Please note, in order to reduce opportunities for the spread of COVID-19, all in-person events taking place on campus through May 31, 2021, must be presented in virtual formats, rescheduled for a future date, or cancelled unless explicitly authorized. This includes any planned in-person gathering including, but not limited to, celebrations, dances, lectures, forums, performances, meetings, rallies, social gatherings, concerts, speaker presentations, conferences, contests, competitions or tournaments. In-person events do not include classes and curricular activities.

The EEPM Project team, in conjunction with the COVID-19 Events Task Force is working to implement a phased approach to the new event initiation processes this spring 2021 as they align with State, Local, and Campus COVID-19 prevention measures and protocols. The Office of Environmental Health and Safety will serve as the official university authority in assessing the safety of all meetings, events, and activities that are scheduled on campus.

We want to thank the EEPM team that will deliver an efficient, transparent enterprise-wide event management system that supports our cultural, academic, educational, and recreational event offerings.
