SECTION 270 - CEREMONIES, CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE - GENERAL
270-9 Lactation Accommodation
The University has implemented a lactation policy and pilot program to compliance with California law requiring appropriate space in close proximity to the employee's work area and a reasonable amount of break time for the purpose of expressing breast milk. This policy applies to all UCSD employees and students who may neec lactation accomodation. PPM 270-9, Lactation Accommodation is effective 1/1/2005.

200-10 Procedures for Sexual Harassment Complaint Resolution
PPM 200-10 has been revised, effective 5/10/2005. These procedures may be used for complaints arising under the new systemwide Policy on Sexual Harassment, which was issued in December 2004. They may also be used for complaints arising under UCSD's Policy on Conflicts of Interest Arising Out of Consensual Relationships, PPM 200-11.

230-10 Academic Leave Policy
This policy was revised to include new language implementing Academic Personnel Manual (APM) Section 133. In addition, the sections on Childbearing Leave, Parental Leave, and Active Service-Modified Duties have been moved to the new PPM section 230-15, Family Accommodations.

Employee Benefit Expenditures, Schedule of Employer Matching Contribution Rates, was updated to reflect the rates effective 1/1/2005. These changes were for I. Retirement, II. Group Health Insurance, III. Group Dental Insurance, IV. Group Vision Insurance and V. Workers' Compensation Insurance.

The Senior Vice Chancellor-Academic Affairs Organization Chart has been revised effective 2/1/2005. The titles for Provost, John Muir College, and Dean, Division of Arts & Humanities were changed from Acting to Interim positions. No other changes were made.
10-11 UCSD Audit & Management Advisory Services
This issuance has been updated to reflect the current updated to reflect the revised Internal Audit Mission Statement, Charter and revised Outline of the University of Calfiornia Audit Management Plan formally approved by The Regents in March of 2004. This issuance was effective as of 9/15/2004.

This issuance, Facilities and Administrative Cost Rates Applicable to Research, Instruction, and Other Federal and Non-Federal Sponsored Projects, has been updated to reflect the current negotiated rates. These rates are effective through the period June 30, 2008. The effective date of this issuance is 7/1/2004.
