SUBJECT: Director, Office of Contract and Grant Administration
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Linda E. Dale as
Director, Office of Contract and Grant Administration, effective
December 1, 1993.
Linda has 15 years of experience in contract and grant
administration, both in industrial and university environments, and
has ably served UCSD as Assistant Director since 1980. Linda
represents UCSD as a member of the National Council of University
Research Administrators and the Council on Governmental Relations,
and is a member of the California Bar Association and San Diego
County Bar Association. She holds a B.A. degree in Social
Science/Psychology from San Diego State University and a J.D.
degree from California Western School of Law.
Linda's leadership skills are a tremendous asset to UCSD and I am
very pleased to make this appointment. Your continued support of
the efforts of her and her staff in administering UCSD's contract
and grant activity is most appreciated.
