SUBJECT: Student Outreach and Recruitment (SOAR) To Host "UCSD       
                PREVIEW DAY", Saturday, October 22, 1994
As part of the Outreach and Recruitment activities for the Fall 1995 class, SOAR will host "UCSD Preview Day" on Saturday, October 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for prospective students and their parents.
Preview Day offers graduating high school students and community college transfer students and their families an opportunity to visit the campus and meet with UCSD students, faculty and staff.
Representatives from academic departments, the Colleges, and student organizations will be available to discuss academic programs, majors, and campus life.
Additional activities will include special seminars and presentations by the Colleges, information on admission and application requirements, applying for scholarships and financial aid, employment and research opportunities for students, and campus housing, meal plans and costs.
Campus tours will be offered every half hour from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Parking is free for this special event. All activities will take place in and around the Price Center.
