I am pleased to announce that effective January 1, 1995, the Dean of Arts
and Humanities, Frantisek Deak, has agreed to assume administrative
responsibility for the Mandeville Center. I wish also to officially
welcome Russell King as the new Director of the Mandeville Center and to
confirm that Mr. King will report directly to Dean Deak. Since the primary
users of Mandeville are from the Arts and Humanities communities, this
change in reporting structure will enable the Dean of Arts and Humanities
to deal directly with the issues raised by the Mandeville Center
constituents.
