A memorandum of February 7, 1994 from Vice Chancellor Marjorie
Caserio announced that a UCSD-Internal Search Committee would be
formed to recommend candidates to replace the current Dean of
Natural Sciences, Donald Anderson, who will step down from that
position on June 30, 1994.

The purpose of this present memorandum is to announce the
composition of that Search Committee (see above), and to inform
you of the committee's desire to receive input from all areas of
the campus community.

If you are aware of individuals whom we should consider
or have comments about the Dean position, please tell us.
Self-nominations are welcomed. Be assured that our search is
being conducted with the highest standards of confidentiality.
