SUBJECT: | Human Resources Innovative Management Initiatives |
As a follow up to President Peltason's Transition Team efforts, the
University's Improved Management Initiatives Workgroup has drafted
principles and recommendations on a new Human Resources Management
Framework. The concepts presented in the proposal reflect key changes
in our approach to staff personnel program design, compensation and
classification, employee training and performance rewards.
To facilitate consultation with the UCSD workforce, copies of the
Conceptual Framework document and a local campus impact document are
available through InfoPath under the Campus Information/Human
Resources menus. In addition, hard copies of these documents are
available at the libraries and through the staff associations.

dcampbell@ucsd.edu or via campus mail at 0922, by Friday, October 14,
1994. Open forums will be held on the following days to discuss the
proposed changes:
Monday, October 3, 12-1pm SIO, 4500 Hubbs Hall
Wednesday, October 5, 12-1pm IR/PS, Robinson Building Complex
Auditorium
