SUBJECT: Proposed 1995-96 Salary Range Adjustment for Student
Classes (Assistant I-III)
Consistent with the proposed range adjustment for Staff employees, a proposal is being made to increase the salary ranges for the student classifications of Assistant I - III by 1.5%. This would provide the following ranges effective October 1, 1995:
Assistant I
minimum $740/month ($4.25/hour) 0% maximum $1021/month ($5.87/hour) 1.5%
Assistant II
minimum $869/month ($4.99/hour) 1.5% maximum $1308/month ($7.52/hour) 1.5%
Assistant III
minimum $1090/month ($6.26/hour) 1.5% maximum $1635/month ($9.40/hour) 1.5%
Students or other interested parties wishing to comment on the proposed ranges may do so. Written or electronic mail comments will be accepted until October 13, 1995 and should be addressed to:

Students employed in titles in the Assistant Series in each department should be made aware of this announcement. The comments received during this consultation period will be carefully considered as the final range adjustment decisions are made.
