SUBJECT: Appointment of Director, Ctr for Molecular Genetics I am pleased to announce that Professor Richard Firtel has been appointed Director of the Center for Molecular Genetics effective June 21, 1995. Professor Firtel has been a member of the faculty of the Department of Biology since 1973 and has received numerous awards and honors for his research, one of the most recent being a
Guggenheim Fellowship. Please join me in welcoming Professor Firtel as Director of the Center for Molecular Genetics.
