OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT VICE CHANCELLOR- ACADEMIC SERVICES February 2, 1995 KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF SUBJECT: Appointment Director, Student Affirmative Action and Human Relations Program I am pleased to announce that Edward López will assume the position of Director of the Student Affirmative Action and Human Relations Program as of February 6. Mr. López is a 1988 graduate of UCSD's then Third College with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning. Subsequently, he earned his J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Recently, he worked with the San Diego law firm of Castillo and Guevara and previously with Jennings, Engstrand & Hendrikson. He was a member of the consultant team to the City of San Diego's Disparity Study. Presently, he serves as secretary of the Board of Directors of the Center City Development Corporation, a member of the Board of Directors of the UCSD Alumni Association, and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the UCSD Chicano Alumni Council.
