SUBJECT: | Employees on the Time Reduction Incentive Plan (TRIP) |
The University's special voluntary Time Reduction Incentive Plan (TRIP)
will end June 30, 1995. TRIP was initiated as a short-term budget
reduction measure rather than a permanent method of reducing percentage of
appointment and salary.
Employees currently participating in this program must return to the
percentage of appointment held prior to TRIP or may request to continue,
with department approval, at reduced time without incentives. The right to
return to the prior percentage of time will apply unless the employee has
been laid off or reduced in time according to the appropriate policy or
bargaining agreement provisions.
Please refer to the policies governing Partial-Year Career Positions, SPP
215 and A&PS 115, as needed.
Note: The Medical Center did not participate in TRIP and should not be
affected by this change.
