Audio/Video Feed of the Board of Regents' Meeting on July 20, 1995

The University of California Board of Regents will meet on Thursday,
July 20, 1995 in San Francisco. Among the agenda items being considered
are the affirmative action policies and practices at the University of
California.

In anticipation of the exceptional public interest in this item and
attendance at the meeting, the Office of the President has restricted
attendance by university staff. For those who had planned to attend, the
Office of the President will provide an audio/video feed of the meeting to
the campuses.

This audio/video feed will be available at the Price Center Library
Lounge, located near Gallery A and Gallery B. It is anticipated that the
affirmative action agenda item will be considered in the time frame of
8 a.m. to noon.

In addition, those that have Triton Cable services (UCSD's campus cable
television service) or broadband network access, can receive the
proceedings of the meeting at their desktop workstation or television. On
Triton Cable, The Regents' meeting will be broadcast on Channels 19 and
22. On the broadband network, the meeting will be broadcast on channel 26.
