SUBJECT:    New Library Service

We are pleased to announce that a new library service is now available
to all UCSD faculty, staff and students registered with the UCSD
Libraries. This new feature provides you with increased access to your
individual circulation record and is available through ROGER, the UCSD
Online Catalog.

Look for the menu option on the ROGER, UCSD Online Catalog main menu:
V> "VIEW Your Circulation Record"

This service provides you with:

1.  Around-the-clock access to your library circulation record from
any terminal or workstation in any of the UCSD Libraries or via
InfoPath access from your office or home.

2.  The ability to renew items checked out to you.

3.  The ability to see if your address information is correct and
   up-to-date.

4.  The ability to see if any items you have checked out have been
   recalled.

5.  The ability to verify the due dates of items you have checked out
to avoid overdue fees by either renewing your items or returning
   them to the library.

6.  The ability to check the status of holds you have requested to be
   placed on items.

A description of capabilities and instructions for this feature are
located on InfoPath/What's New or by using the following URL:
