SUBJECT: | Mail Services Nonprofit Mailers Seminars |
As you may already know, the U.S. Postal Service Classification Reform
arrived on July 1, 1996 for business mailers. Effective October 6,
1996, Classification Reform was extended to include nonprofit mail as
well. Depending on the particular volume and type of mailing,
nonprofit mailers, such as the University of California San Diego,
will have the same opportunities as commercial mailers to obtain
postage discounts.
Mail Services and the U.S. Postal Service will be presenting a series
of seminars to assist the campus community on conforming with
Nonprofit Classification Reform and maximizing the effective use of
limited budgets for your department and the University.
We have thirty seats available at the 9:00-11:00 am and 1:00-3:00 pm
sessions on the following dates for information on Non-Profit vs. Bulk
Mail:

November 14, 1996
December 4, 1996
