The Early Admission Honors (EAH) Program is a special scholars program in
which high school students in their senior year attend both high school and
UCSD concurrently. EAH, under the auspices of the Office of Admissions and
Outreach, has an open filing period from November 30, 1996 to January 31,
1997 for the Fall Quarter 1997. High school students who are currently in
the eleventh grade who will be graduating seniors (twelfth grade) in the
1997-98 academic year are encouraged to apply. EAH students are permitted
to take up to two UCSD classes each quarter at a cost of less than one third
the normal fee. The qualifications for EAH include a grade-point average of
4.00 in all high school courses applicable to the UC admission requirements
(A-F pattern). Also, the SAT I or PSAT must be completed by the December
1996 test date for EAH admission consideration.

For further information about EAH, please contact Patricia Reiswig, EAH
Coordinator, or Kris Livingston, EAH Co-coordinator at (619) 534-4831.
