Telephone System Maintenance and Voice Mail Upgrade

Administrative Computing and Telecommunications (ACT) will be
implementing hardware maintenance to the campus telephone
system on Saturday, January 11th, 1997. This will eliminate
a problem we have been periodically experiencing with call cut-offs.

Due to this maintenance procedure, telephone service will
experience temporary outages on Saturday, January 11th, between
3:00am and approximately 4:00am the same day.

In addition, we will be implementing an upgrade to the campus
voice mail system on the same day. That system will be out of
service from 4:30am until approximately 7:00am the same day.
There will be no loss of messages or greetings on the voice
mail system throughout this procedure.
