IDA AND CECIL GREEN FACULTY CLUB
February 16, 1996
ALL AT UCSD
SUBJECT: | Faculty Club Membership |
In order to make membership more widely accessible in the UCSD
community, the Ida and Cecil Green Faculty Club is offering a special
initiation fee of only $50.00 to new members who apply by March 31,
1996. This represents up to a $150.00 savings.
The Club is becoming a hub of activity and conversation for UCSD
faculty and staff. In addition to flexible facilities, the Club
regularly displays faculty artwork and recent publications.
Membership is open to all faculty, staff, graduate students, and
community men and women who support the University. The Club serves
as the social hub of the campus, providing a central location to meet,
dine and socialize. Founded in 1969, the Club's goal is to provide a
place where members can meet in a relaxed atmosphere for intellectual
and social functions. The Club is wholly separate from the University
and entirely funded through membership dues and service revenues.
Club members enjoy the popular luncheon buffet served weekdays
year-round from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00pm. Meeting rooms and Banquet
facilities are available to accommodate private breakfasts, meetings,
lunches, receptions, dinners, weddings and bar mitzvahs. The Club
offers complete and competitive catering services.
The Club's calendar includes monthly events, many that focus on
distinguished speakers, artists and authors from the campus. Happy
hours, wine dinners, holiday parties and brunches and concerts round
out the calendar of member events. For an application or more
information please contact Tom Mignano at 534-0876 or by fax at 534-0876.
