Service Awards Ceremony

I am pleased to announce that the annual Service Awards Ceremony will be
held on Tuesday, May 21, 1996, in the Price Center Ballroom. The ceremony
has been designed to extend special recognition to UCSD employees who have
completed 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years of service and who have received
service pins during the period May 1, 1995 through April 30, 1996.

The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m., and will include presentation of
Certificates of Appreciation to those employees who have completed 25 and
30 years of service. Refreshments will be served immediately following
the presentations.

All supervisors should encourage their employees who have received service
pins during the period noted above to attend the ceremony. The continuing
excellence of this campus is, in many respects, a reflection of the
efforts and contributions of the important members of our campus who will
be recognized at the Service Awards Ceremony.
