SUBJECT: | Canadian Postal Workers Strike |
Mail Services has been informed by the U.S. Post Office that the Postal
Workers of Canada went on strike November 19, 1997. The only mail destined
for Canada being accepted by the Postal Service is USPS Express mail. All
other mail will be returned to sender. Mail Services will be returning all
Canadian mail to the originating departments beginning immediately.
UPS and Federal Express will continue to accept and deliver packages to
Canada with no disruption.
We will send a notice out to the campus when the strike is over. If you
have any questions or concerns please call Mail Services at 534-1164.
