Appointment of Jennefer Collins, Assistant Vice Chancellor - Academic Personnel

I am very pleased to announce that Jennefer Collins has accepted the
position of Assistant Vice Chancellor-Academic Personnel.

Jennefer brings to this position an impressive background of
University experience and leadership. She received her B.A. from the
University of Southern California, where she spent several years as an
administrator in the School of Dentistry. She joined the UCSD
community in 1979 and has served as the senior administrator in the
Department of Biology since that time. Jennefer enjoys an outstanding
reputation as a campus leader and innovative problem-solver. Her
extensive knowledge and experience will serve us well in the coming
years.

Jennefer will be joining our office on October 15, 1997. She can be
