Crime: Sexual Battery
Location: UCSD - Crowded Shuttle Bus traveling from the Price Center to the East Parking lots
Date/Time:	November 17, 1998 - Tuesday - 2:30p.m. - 2:40p.m.
Suspect:	Asian male adult, approximately 30 years old, approximately 5'4" tall, 110 pounds, thin build, bushy short black hair, brown eyes, 
no facial hair, no glasses, described as having crooked teeth with a 
heavy Asian accent.  No further description available.

On a crowded "standing room only" shuttle bus ride from the Price Center 
to the East parking lots, the suspect stood in the aisle pressed up against
the victim.  The suspect seized upon this crowded opportunity to illegally
touch the victim.

As safe as UCSD is, it is not immune to criminal activity.  All community
members need to be alert to such possibilities and take the necessary
precautions to protect themselves.  Community members are encouraged to
immediately report any illegal, unusual or suspicious activity to the UCSD
Police Department.

It is the responsibility of all UCSD community members who receive this
bulletin to assist the police department by disseminating this information
as widely as possible in order to aid the police department in our efforts
to protect all community members and to prevent any future occurrences.

Anyone having information concerning this incident or who has experienced a
similar occurrence is encouraged to contact the police department as soon
as possible.
