SUBJECT:    Web Based Training Demonstration

The UCSD Libraries' Training Department is sponsoring two demonstrations of
the WebBT (web-based training system) on

August 24, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
and
August 28, noon - 1:00 p.m
in the
Seuss Room, Geisel Library

Grace Balch of Staff Education and Development will be demonstrating
the WebBT (web-based training system) which is a free service for
UCSD faculty, staff, and students including 300 applications for a full
range of information systems training, from office suites to network
technologies. WebBT may be used to access training at work through
the campus network, or at home or from other remote sites through a
UCSD dial-in connection. She will give a brief history of the acquisition
of the system, orient people to the features of the interface, discuss
frequently asked questions, the content of the curriculum, and how to
use both the download and liveplay options.

Please join us for one of these informative sessions. To register, send an

which session you prefer. Registrations will be taken on a space
available basis.
