SUBJECT: U.S. Postal Service International Rate Increase
The U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors recently passed a postage rate increase for International Mail that became effective on May 30, 1999. However, customers should be aware that letter class rates to all countries (except Canada) and airmail printed matter rates to all countries (except Canada and Mexico) will not be affected.
The highlights of the rate increase are as follows:
