BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL SERVICES MATERIAL SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION July 12, 1999 KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF SUBJECT: Storehouse Computer Outage Causes Delay in Order Processing The UCSD Storehouse has been experiencing computer problems since Friday July 2,1999. During this time, we have been unable to process orders for stock or catalog goods. The computer was repaired Thursday morning (7/8/99) and we have resumed our normal business cycle. All orders that we have received since last Friday will be processed immediately. Customers may experience a two to three day delay in the normal order turn-around time for Storehouse orders due to this outage. That delay should be eliminated in a few days. The Express Storehouse Ordering System (ESOS) has also been down during this time and resumed operation on Thursday. The Storehouse Order desk continues to accept orders via FAX, e:mail and telephone.
