The committee, formed in consultation with the Academic Senate's Committee on Committees, will immediately begin its task of identifying the best qualified candidates for the position. The members of the Search Committee will consult widely within the School of Medicine as they carry out their nationwide search. The position of Vice Chancellor- Health Sciences and Dean, School of Medicine is one of the most important at UCSD and your advice and cooperation during the search process will be appreciated.
