SUBJECT:  Inclusion of the UC Merced Campus in Official
                     University Letterhead

An August 26, 1999 directive from UC President Richard C. Atkinson requests that the university's tenth campus, UC Merced, be included in the banner of official University of California letterhead stationery. In the memorandum President Atkinson states: "Since plans for UC Merced are proceeding, I believe it is time we added the Merced name to the University's official letterhead."

In response to this directive, the UCSD Imprints Service can provide the updated UC letterhead when you are ready to reorder stationery.
