Darcy and Robert Bingham Endowed Scholarships

Helping students who are helping themselves....

The Darcy and Robert Bingham Endowed Scholarship Fund supports scholarships for students working for UCSD. The purposes of the scholarships are to help students who are helping themselves by working for UCSD while in school, and to encourage a culture of giving among these students that they may, in turn, support future students.

Three students will receive scholarships of $1,500 each ($500 per quarter) in the 2000-2001 academic year, one each in the following three categories:

The Darcy Bingham Recreation Student Employee Scholarship - Awarded to an undergraduate student employed by UCSD Recreation

The Darcy Bingham Student Affairs Student Employee Scholarship - Awarded to an undergraduate student employed within UCSD Student Affairs

The Bingham UCSD Student Employee Scholarship - Awarded to an undergraduate student employed by UCSD

"We invite students who are employed at UCSD, and meet the scholarship criteria, to submit an application by the May 1, 2000 deadline."

See "Download Financial Aid and Scholarship Forms" to locate "2000-2001 Bingham Scholarship Application." To print, use small print icon right above application text.

You can also pick up an application at the Student Financial Services lobby (located in the same building as the Bursars).
