SUBJECT:  Appointment of Interim Dean, Division of Biology

I am pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2000, William (Bill) McGinnis will be the Interim Dean, Division of Biology. Professor McGinnis has served as the Associate Dean, Natural Sciences since July, 1999, and before that as Chair of the Department of Biology.

Professor Suresh Subramani, the 1999/00 Chair of the Department of Biology, will serve as the Interim Associate Dean of the Division of Biology.

Professors McGinnis and Subramani will serve in these roles until the permanent Dean of the Division is appointed.
