SUBJECT:  Classroom Attributes Now Available On StudentLink

Classroom Attributes have been added to StudentLink for Faculty/Staff access (www.studentlink.ucsd.edu). This feature allows staff and faculty to search by a variety of fields to find appropriate classrooms. You can search by the building, room number, area of campus, required capacity and/or equipment type.

The drop-down menu of rooms displays space across campus, but equipment type data is only available for those classrooms scheduled by the Registrar's Office. (This list is available on the site if needed).

There are also links to the contacts for academic departments who coordinate reservations with the Scheduling staff in the Registrar's Office, as well as a link to Media Services to make it easy to reserve equipment for a class room.

We hope this feature will aid staff and faculty in becoming more familiar with space and equipment availability on campus. When you need to reserve a room for use, continue to follow existing procedures.
