SUBJECT:  UCSD Web Policy, Procedures, and Practices PPM 135-6

The UCSD Web Policy, Procedures, and Practices, effective October 16, 2000, is available online at

This issuance describes the applicability of certain laws and University policies to UCSD Web Sites and Pages. It includes procedures for establishing a web account, registration as official UCSD web sites, and operational requirements and regulations. Departments, individuals and other entities using or maintaining web sites should become familiar with the provisions of this issuance.

Manual Holders are requested to route a copy of this issuance to the Department Chair and any other staff within the department needing information on UCSD web policy.
