The results of the April 7, 2000 Academic Senate Election are as follows:

Vice Chair (Chair Designate) for a two-year term, effective September 1, 2000, through August 31, 2002 [the first year will be served as Vice Chair (Chair Designate) and the second year as Chair of the San Diego Division:

Divisional Representatives to the Assembly of the Academic Senate (systemwide) for two-year terms, effective September 1, 2000 through August 31, 2002:

The number of valid ballots cast in this election was 513, which represents a 37% turnout of the current Senate membership. I wish to thank everyone who participated in this year's election.
