SUBJECT:  PERMANENT ROAD CLOSURE
                    Campus Point Drive - East Campus

Due to the required infrastructure construction for the future Rebecca and John Moores UCSD Cancer Center building, Campus Point Drive (the road between Thornton Hospital and Shiley Eye Center) will be permanently closed beginning May 29, 2001. The construction of the Cancer Center building will not affect staff or patient access to any parking lots and the bus terminal will remain close to the existing location.
