Subject:  Summary of Staff Survey Feedback

In May and June, the Staff Retention and Support Steering Committee (SRSSC) conducted focus groups and open forums, and issued paper and web-based questionnaires inviting comments and ideas from staff about improving their work environment at UCSD. Over 700 staff members participated in this process. The Staff Retention and Support Steering Committee are currently reviewing the feedback received.

- A brief overview of the information collection process and the major themes recorded
- A consolidated summary of the comments received
- A detailed summary (by question) of the comments received

We wish to thank all staff members who took the time to share their ideas. During the fall quarter, upon completion of the review, the results will be used in the formulation of recommendations to the Chancellor on improving the work environment for staff at UCSD.
