ALL ENTERING AND CONTINUING UCSD STUDENTS

SUBJECT:  U.S. Terrorist Attacks- Campus Status

Please be advised that the University of California, San Diego is deeply saddened by the terrorist attacks that have taken place this morning in Washington, D.C. and New York City.

As information is still unfolding, the campus will remain open at this time. Academic operations and all campus services at UCSD are expected to continue as planned, with the fall quarter to begin Monday, September 17th.

Move in to on-campus housing will proceed as previously scheduled, commencing this Saturday, September 15th.

In light of these tragic events, the following student counseling services are available immediately:

Psychological and counseling services are available at each of the Colleges and at the central Galbraith Hall Office. The telephone number is (858) 534-3755.

Ordained clergy members of the Office of Religious Affairs are available for counseling from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Office of Religious Affairs is located next to the campus police station at 502 University Center. The telephone number is (858) 534-2521.
