SUBJECT:  Campuswide Moment of Reflection at 12:40 pm on
                     Tuesday, October 2, 2001

All members of the UCSD community have been invited to a "Time of Remembrance and Reflection" to be held on October 2, 2001 at 12:30 to 1:00 pm. The event will take place at the Price Center Plaza in remembrance of the New York/Washington tragedy.

At 12:40 pm, "TAPS" will be played by the UCSD Carillon/Library Chimes to signal a campuswide moment of silence. Members of the UCSD community are encouraged to take a moment to reflect on the events we have experienced since the September 11 attacks on our nation.
