SUBJECT:  Staff Equal Opportunity Enrichment Program,
                     2002-03 Call for Individual Proposals for Funds

I am pleased to announce the call for individual proposals for Staff Equal Opportunity Enrichment Program (SEOEP) funds for the 2002-03 fiscal year. This program provides individual awards for training activities, up to $500.00, for career employees seeking a promotion or career change who have completed their probationary period, who meet performance evaluation requirements, and who submit a completed proposal. All applicants will be considered without regard to gender or ethnicity.

The implementation of the SEOEP is one method by which we seek to sustain and improve the diversity in career positions at UCSD.
