SUBJECT:  Martin D. Kamen Memorial

A memorial gathering for Martin D. Kamen will be held on Friday afternoon, November 1st, at the Center for Molecular Genetics, from 4:30PM to 6:00PM. Martin Kamen was one of the six founding faculty of the Department of Chemistry (now Chemistry & Biochemistry) at UCSD and was a much loved member of our institution from 1961 until 1978, when he became emeritus. All members of the general UCSD community are welcome. Light refreshments to follow.
