UPDATE

SUBJECT:  UPDATE--Construction Alert: East Campus - Closure of Medical
Center Drive East and South (UPDATED WEB SITE INFORMATION)

Beginning on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 and continuing through Wednesday, December 11, 2002, Medical Center Drive East and South will be closed to all through traffic as excavators move dirt from the Cancer Center site to the new Science Research Park site. The road portion of Medical Center Drive East (south of Health Sciences) to the east of the Thornton Hospital Service Yard will be the affected areas (refer to the campus map website http://physicalplanning.ucsd.edu/UCSDEAST.pdf view the East Campus (map section D4).

All deliveries and vehicles from Health Sciences Drive will need to take the north route along Medical Center Drive North.
