SUBJECT:  Holiday Parties and Gatherings

As the holiday season approaches, it is timely to call attention to UCSD's entertainment policy and procedure for planning and paying for holiday events.

There are two categories of allowable events under the UC entertainment policy:

(1) Employee appreciation - when only employees are in attendance

(2) Special and social events - when employees and their spouses/guests are in attendance
