KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF
SUBJECT: Search for the Dean of the Irwin and Joan Jacobs School of Applications and nominations are invited for the position of Dean of the Irwin and Joan Jacobs School of Engineering. The Search Committee (membership listed below) will conduct a nationwide search and is seeking to recruit a Dean of intellectual and scholarly distinction who will be attracted by the prospect of shaping the future vision of the Jacobs School's nationally ranked engineering programs. The Dean will be appointed to serve at 100% time for a five-year term, renewable following appropriate review. Candidates must possess the academic qualifications sufficient to merit a tenured senior level academic appointment. The Search Committee will begin reviewing nominations and applications on May 1, 2002, and continue until the position is filled.
