SUBJECT:  Opportunity to Affect Noise on Campus

Dear Colleagues:

The Academic Senate Committee on Campus and Community Environment is considering the impact of noise on the UCSD campus. Our goal is to identify guidelines for the management of noise at UCSD, consistent with overall academic objectives. A Working Group has been formed, and one of its tasks is to survey the UCSD community regarding excessive noise.

If you have comments, concerns or suggestions regarding noise on campus which might assist the Group in developing guidelines, please reply to the clickable address given below.

In your reply, it would be helpful if you could be specific about the type of noise, location, times, effects, and potential remedies.
