SUBJECT:  U.S. Postal Service Rate Hike - Effective June 30, 2002

On April 8, 2002, the Postal Rate Commission and the Board of Governors from the U.S. Postal Service made the decision to increase the postal rate effective June 30, 2002. This rate increase was originally expected in September 2002. For First Class mail, the rate will increase by 3 cents to $.37 for the first ounce.
