SUBJECT:  Construction Alert - Voigt Drive Utilities

During the period June 24, 2002 through September 16, 2002, new electrical, water, sewer, and storm drain utilities will be installed and some existing utilities relocated. These utilities will support the new Engineering Building Unit 3B (Computer Science Engineering), the Cal(IT)2 Facility (California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology), and Earl Warren College. This construction has been planned so that there will be minimum, if any, impact on Warren College's important summer events.

One lane on Voigt Drive will always be kept open and stop time will be kept to a minimum. However, it is suggested that during this time you may want to seek alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience to you. Refer to the campus map website http://www.ucsd.edu/map/ucsdmap.pdf.
