SUBJECT: Proposal Call UC Teaching, Learning, and technology Center The UC Teaching, Learning & technology Center (TLtC) seeks proposals for its Intercampus Collaborative Grants Program that address significant instructional problems and are of sufficient scope and scale to have a substantial impact on teaching and learning across the UC through the use of technology. The TLtC awards Feasibility/Planning Grants (up to $5,000) to groups of three or more faculty from a minimum of two campuses who need resources to determine the feasibility of an intercampus collaborative project and/or want to plan a Full-scale Expansion & Implementation project proposal. Please see http://www.uctltc.org/funding/2004/rfp_small.html for application procedures. The deadline to submit proposals is Tuesday, October 28, 2003. Examples of TLtC-funded proposals can be found on the TLtC website at http://www.uctltc.org/funding/proposal.html. The University of California Teaching, Learning and technology Center is a center-without-walls that is intended to provide systemwide visibility to campus and faculty efforts that use new technologies to improve teaching and learning. The Center also provides complementary support to leverage those efforts for the benefit of the entire system. Questions about the program should be directed to UCSD's TLtC Campus Liaison, Provost Gabriele Wienhausen at gwienhausen@ucsd.edu or x25951.
