SUBJECT:  UCSD Storehouse Enhancements presented by UCSD Marketplace

UCSD's procurement team has launched the next wave of improvements to the campus buying site known as "UCSD Marketplace," powered by an enhanced version of the successful UCSD Storehouse. Effective November 1, 2003, these enhancements include the following new features:

--Recharge purchases from UCSD Storehouse will now appear on your
operating ledger and on recharge statements with new descriptions and
several new account codes to support easy reconciliation. This breakout
replaces the current generic Storehouse Recharge account code and
description. Visit the following link for detailed information about
   the new account code breakout:

--UCSD Storehouse login and access has converted to Administrative
Computing and Telecommunications (ACT) Single Sign-on (SSO) process.
This offers the ability for campus shoppers to use one ID and password
to authenticate and identify access rights to a set of business systems.
Under the new process, you sign in once to one of the participating
business systems. You do not need to sign in again until you sign out or
close the browser session. Visit the following link for more
   information about SSO: http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/sso

These are two of many incremental improvements that the procurement team will be launching over the next few months to pave the way for the transition of our campus buying site to UCSD Marketplace.
