SUBJECT:  CONSTRUCTION ALERT - NORTH TORREY PINES ROAD

Due to construction of a reclaimed water line by the City of San Diego on North Torrey Pines Road, southbound traffic will be affected beginning on Monday, February 18, 2003. The work will extend the existing reclaimed water distribution line south from Salk Institute Road to Muir College Drive. Work will occur Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is planned to be completed in early April. During the daily construction period, traffic will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction; northbound traffic will not be affected. Delays should be anticipated. The City of San Diego and their contractor apologize for any temporary inconvenience this will cause.
