SUBJECT:  Implementation of Fee for Performance Agreements

Effective Thursday, March 27, 2003, the University Events Office will be assessing a fee for issuance of performance agreements: a $5.00 fee for short form agreements of $1,000 or less and a $10.00 fee for long form agreements exceeding $1,000. The fee will be processed via campus recharge.

To initiate a performance agreement, the following steps must be completed:

1) Access the University Events planning web site at
http://eventplanner.ucsd.edu

2) On your initial visit to the web site, register to use the site by clicking "Register Now" in the UCSD Staff section

3) Submit Artist Performance Agreement by clicking "Submit Artist Contract"

A contract will be provided to the artist in accordance with your instructions. The artist will need to sign and return the contract to the University Events Office for final approval and signature. The fully executed contract will be returned to the requester who can then proceed with check issuance.
