SUBJECT:  Electronic Payment Option on StudentLink

We are pleased to announce that the UCSD Campus will begin accepting student fee payments electronically beginning Wednesday March 5, 2003. The University's StudentLink site has been expanded and now provides Electronic Check Payment capability and an Electronic Billing presentation.

Students now have the convenience of making payments by check electronically. E-Check will provide a real-time payment option for all student fees. The E-Check tool was designed to provide students more timely access to billing information, as well as a more efficient and timely method for making payments. Payments made through the E-Check site are safe, secure, and fast. Payments are credited to the student's University account immediately. There is a nominal 75¢ transaction fee for the use of the E-Check tool. E-Check can be used immediately to pay Spring Quarter 2003 fees.

The new Billing Statement on StudentLink is easier to understand, provides up-to-date account information as well as the ability to view the current statement and links directly with the E-Check site.
