The Exemplary Employee of the Year Review Committee, which is comprised of representatives from the Chancellor's Office, each Vice Chancellor area and UCSD Healthcare, evaluated all eligible nominations submitted by members of the campus community. The selections were based on criteria communicated in the 2002-2003 Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program notice. The announcement invited nominations of Professional and Support Staff members who have demonstrated exemplary service and have made other noteworthy contributions to the UCSD and/or San Diego communities in accordance with program guidelines. The Chancellor has reviewed and approved the Committee's recommendation of this year's award recipients.

An award ceremony and reception will be held at the Faculty Club in late May to honor these individuals.

Please join me in congratulating our colleagues for their noteworthy accomplishment.
