SUBJECT:  Appointment of Acting Director, Career Services Center

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Craig Schmidt will serve as Acting Director of the Career Services Center upon Neil Murray's retirement, effective July 1, 2003. Since 1987, Craig has been an Assistant Director at the Center, with responsibility for leadership of its Career Development Program and serving as a member of the Center's Management Team. He first joined the Center staff in 1983, initially hired as a Career Advisor. He also served as Graduate Careers Coordinator before advancing to the Assistant Director position. He holds a Masters in Counseling degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
